Our Classes

Whether you are training for self defense, fitness or as a career fighter. Salford MMA is perfect for you with seasoned, experienced coaches and full fighter management programme from Amateur to Professional level.

Kickboxing

Our kickboxing classes are suitable for all levels with separate classes aimed at beginners/intermediate to learn basic techniques whilst gaining fitness and advanced classes for those aiming to compete or push themselves further. The class is based around Thai Boxing and full contact Kickboxing techniques and how they are applied in competition such as Muay Thai, K-1 and MMA. We have separate classes for Juniors ages 6-14 and adult classes from ages 14 upwards. We are affiliated to ISKA.

Submission Grappling / Wrestling

Our Submission Grappling and Wrestling classes are suitable for all levels with separate classes aimed at beginners/intermediate to learn basic techniques whilst gaining fitness and advanced classes for those aiming to compete or push themselves further. The class is based around Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Sambo, Catch Wrestling and a blend of other grappling styles and how they are applied in competition such as Submission Wrestling NoGi Grappling and MMA. We have separate classes for Juniors ages 6-14 and adult classes from ages 14 upwards.

Ground N Pound MMA

Striking and defending on the ground is a unique part of MMA and these classes focus on working techniques when under pressure of ground n pound and technique for winning with strikes on the floor. Our Submission Grappling and Wrestling classes are suitable for all levels with separate classes aimed at beginners/intermediate to learn basic techniques whilst gaining fitness and advanced classes for those aiming to compete or push themselves further. We have separate classes for Juniors ages 6-14 and adult classes from ages 14 upwards.

Advanced Classes

For those looking to compete in MMA or Striking/Grappling we have advanced classes nightly when you can push your training to the highest level We have an active Pro and Amateur fight team, regularly taking part in MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing and Submission Grappling. These classes include Sparring, conditioning and advanced fighter drills.

Strength & Conditioning / Circuits

We run a variety of strength and conditioning sessions/classes at the club daily, including circuits, outdoor training, our infamous Fearsome 50 and have weight training & functional equipment available all day.

Little Ninjas

Little Ninjas is an established exercise system for children ages 3-6 years. With the focus on FUN as well as fitness, the classes teach good behaviour, discipline, awareness, communication skills, hand/eye co-ordination and safety.

Open Training

The gym is available at various times throughout the day for open training. This is not a class but either self-training or many members get together and arrange training together. Please check availability of the gym during these times.

Private Tuition

Private coaching is available from various coaches who work at the club. Times may be booked for private tuition during the day, please enquire to check availability. Evenings are not available as the gym is fully booked with group classes Monday to Friday.
